Humans For The Arts is a nonprofit organization that focuses on education, Art, psychology and culture, providing a free artistic outlet for children from various difficult backgrounds and circumstances. This unique setting brings together diverse youth groups attending our programs to enrich their fine arts education and hone their empathy skills through learning and practical sessions.

Melina Moghadassian

Melina Moghadassian is an actress, former athlete, stylist, & founder of Humans for the Arts. As an alumna of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Melina has developed her craft for the past three years passionately. Melina has appeared in performances at the Stella Adler Studio called “A Bright Room Called Day “ directed by John Gould Rubin and an off Broadway Show called “Almost Maine” by John Cariani, directed by Gwendolyn Snow. Currently, Melina is continuing her training by taking a masterclass with her inspiration and mentor, Bernard Hiller, as well as private dance, singing and piano classes to develop her craft as an artist. Outside of Humans for the Arts, Melina is also teaching acting classes to students who want to pursue acting as a profession. She is working towards a certificate by NASM( National Academy of Sports Medicine) as a personal trainer; Melina is also CPR/AED / First Aid certified. Attending a business of English class here in the US by the School of Amlotus, she creates more opportunities in the business industry.

Sofia Sparta

Sofia Sparta is an Actress, Writer, Producer, and board member of Humans for the Arts. Sofia is a native New Yorker of Greek descent and has spent time living and developing theatre in Prague, CZ. She has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Marymount Manhattan College, which she attended on scholarship. While studying, she interned and worked at the production company Ora TV, working on Larry King Now and Real Girls Kitchen with Haylie Duff.

She is a host and contributor for The Fake Magazine, interviewing artists, athletes, and designers from multicultural backgrounds, highlighting their journeys to success. Sofia has worked on digital series, experimental arts, theatre productions, and feature films as an artist. Always sharpening her craft and mind, she currently is training at The Markland Studio.

Sandra Gitau

Sandra Gitau Miklas is an Actress, Model, Entrepreneur and board member of Humans for the Arts. She was born in Kenya, raised in Austria and has lived and worked in several countries around the world. Due to this international exposure early on she was able to experience, connect and learn from diverse people and cultures. She holds a Master of Arts degree in International Business and has worked as Marketing Manager in the IT industry. She has over a decade experience in the Fashion industry, working with over 50 high profile clients like Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Marciano by Guess. She has appeared in several TV shows and operas in Germany and Austria. She constantly works on her craft as an Artist and human being by attending masterclasses by Bernard Hiller and other industry professionals.

Annie Mokatsyan

As seen in Forbes Magazine, Annie Mokatsyan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and grew up doing gymnastics and soccer. Annie found fervor in acting at the age of nine and became identified as gifted in performing arts drama at LAUSD since 2015; she was also awarded for “Excellence in Theatre Arts LAUSD” at the age of eleven. Annie enjoys exposing her performances on stage and loves improv, drama, comedic, commercial, and film endeavors in which she has been seen in.

Eliana Ghen

An actress, producer, and writer known for Netflix's hit show 'Insatiable,' NBC's Ordinary Joe, and Hulu's Dopesick, as well as Camila Cabello and Bazzi's music video, 'Beautiful.' She has appeared in the comedy spoof film 'Purge of Kingdoms' that can be seen on Amazon.
